Pan-African Centre for Missiology invites Emerging Missiologists to present short papers as part of the Annual AfriMissions Summit. While the summit itself has a yearly theme, no theme is set for the Emerging Missiologists sessions . Emerging academics are invited to bring their various fields of research into the summit as long as the chosen topic is of missiological concerns for Africa Today.
This is a space where young scholars, graduate students and emerging researchers, can present their ideas within an academic environment, and gain experience in participating in an academic dialogue. It is assumed that ideas papers might still be in initial stages of reflection, and we hope that this opportunity will create an environment where young voices can be encouraged to develop these ideas into full research papers.
Presentations will be limited to 12 minutes, with time for discussion after each presentation. Those interested are invited to submit an abstract of 100-150 words before 15 November 2018. The final conference program including practical details on registration and accommodation will be distributed by 20 February 2019.
