Pan-African Goodwill Ambassadors

Pan-African Centre For Missiology has a new category of personnel called “ Pan-African Goodwill Ambassadors.”  This program is all about  Passion for Missions, Passion to help facilitate the growing number of Christian leaders who are capable of traveling, recruiting, managing and promoting mission using Pan-African Centre For Missiology as their administrative platform.

Pan-African Goodwill Ambassador Job Description

In general, the job of a Pan-African Goodwill Ambassador is to promote the work of Pan African Centre For Missiology in areas where there is a need to focus worldwide attention. This work may take place at a national, regional, or international level. Their main objectives are to raise Missional awareness, and sometimes also funds, to the different Pan-African Centre For Missiology programs in areas such as:

  • Missiological Research and Publication
  • Education and Culture
  • Mental, social, and physical health
  • Environmental and sustainability issues
  • Economic development and poverty alleviation
  • Poverty and hunger eradication
  • Drug abuse and trafficking
  • Capacity building, Training and Policy dialogue
  • Youth Empowerment

Being Chosen as a Pan-African Goodwill Ambassador: Selection Criteria

Individuals who are invited to serve as Pan-African Goodwill Ambassadors must typically meet the following criteria:

  • Be current members of Pan-African Centre For Missiology ( Full Member, Associate member or Honorary Member)
  • Have widely recognized talent in the arts, sciences, literature, entertainment, sports or other fields of public life
  • Demonstrate a strong desire to help mobilize public support for the cause of world Missions
  • Demonstrate the commitment and proven potential to reach out to significant audiences, including decision makers
  • Have good credentials related to the mandate (such as the environment, Youth Empowerment, etc.) in work or life
  • Must be passionate and inspiring with regards to the mandate of Pan African Centre For Missiology
  • Possess the personality and dignity required for such high-level representative capacity
  • Be influential beyond their national borders, thus having the ability to promote the values of the Pan African Centre For Missiology internationally
  • Be knowledgeable and articulate with regards to the goals and activities of the mandate being represented
  • Not be engaged with or endorsed products, organizations or causes that conflict with the Pan–African Centre For Missiology values
